Mommy: "Ann Charlotte, we need to say a quick prayer for Daddy Bob. He is in surgery now for his heart. It is a serious surgery and he needs our prayers. Can you close your eyes?"
Ann Charlotte: "Mommy, what is wrong with him?"
Mommy: "He is having surgery on his heart and your heart is very important! It keeps you alive!"
Ann Charlotte: "I know that mommy, because that is where God lives. He lives in your heart."
So true, I have never thought of your heart being such a vital organ and that is where you ask Jesus/God to "come in to your heart." So simple, yet so deep.
I love this girl and she loves Daddy Bob (my granddaddy--her great-granddaddy)! We are so glad he is home recovering now!
