Tights are optional...

Ann Charlotte took ballet at Hutchison this semester.  Each week, we packed a bag  with tights, a leotard and her ballet shoes.  The parents get to come to the final class to watch the "performance."  Apparently her teachers didn't have time to help her with the tights the week of the performance.

Doing so great!
Proud after it was over!

Her buddies Sloane and Sophia

Giving Lilly a hug!

 Hmmmm, Mommy couldn't quit laughing.
Ann Charlotte you so graceful!
I was so proud!

Ann Charlotte can pump her legs on the swing!  This is really big news at our house because mommy and daddy don't have to push her anymore!  This girl loves to swing!

The Truth Comes Out

I don't know what has sparked this but Ann Charlotte has told on herself two times in the past 24 hours.  I don't know what she is feeling guilty about but this is what I have heard:

Last night:

Ann Charlotte:  "Mommy, you know when we had American flags?  I was three then and, well, I had a glow bracelet and I was chewing it and I wasn't supposed to and  it tasted funny and  I swallowed it.  But that's okay isn't it mommy because I was only three."

Just then:

Ann Charlotte:  "Mommy, I need to tell you something.  When I was three I put hello kitty stamps on the couch."

Mommy: "What?  Where?  When?  Show me where?"

Ann Charlotte:  "I'll show you, but I was three so it doesn't matter now because I am four.  Right?  It's okay isn't it.  I was only three"

I wonder what will come out next.  My sweet angel may have an alter-ego!

Since my last post another confession has come out...

Ann Charlotte:  "You know Rosie our elf?"

Mommy:  "Yes, Rosie will probably come back after Thanksgiving (thinking she was anxious for her return)"

Ann Charlotte: "Well, last Christmas I was only three.  I am four now and I know better.  But, well, did I touch Rosie?"

Mommy: "Ann Charlotte, I don't know.  You weren't supposed to.  Remember, she looses her magic if you touch her.  Did you touch her?  She flew back on Christmas Eve so I don't think you did."

Ann Charlotte: (concerned) "Well, if I touched her on accident would that be okay?  I was only three and it was an accident.  She was sitting right here one day and I reached up when you weren't around and I may have touched her.  I can't remember."

Mommy:  "Well, if you did I guess that one time she didn't loose her magic.  But now that you are four you know NOT to touch her if she comes back.  Right?"

Ann Charlotte: "Yes, I know."

Hmmmm, do you think she touched her?  Only Rosie knows!  I hope she comes back next week!
