On June 24th 2012 Hooper was baptized. It was such a special day!
On this day we promised to:
Acknowledge Hooper’s need of the cleansing blood of the Lord
Jesus Christ and the renewing grace of the Holy Spirit.
Claim God’s covenant promises on Hooper’s behalf, and to
look to the Lord Jesus Christ for his salvation, as we do for our own.
Unreservedly dedicate Hooper to God, and promise, in
humble reliance upon divine grace, that we will endeavor to set before him a
godly example, that we will pray with and for him, that we will teach him the
sacred Scriptures, and that we will strive, by all the means that God provides
us, to bring Hooper up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
The congregation sang Jesus Loves Me as we walked out-Hooper may you ALWAYS remember that Jesus loves you-this I know!
