Halloween Happenings

Our friends, the Grantham’s, have an annual pumpkin carving party. It was a lot of fun! I think we selected the most difficult design. It is supposed to be a witch-use your imagination!

Cedar Hill Farms with Ann Charlotte's best buddy-William!  Pig races, hay rides, corn maze, pony rides...you name it-they have it. So much fun!

Acey bought us a re-useable gingerbread house!  How fun to decorate for every holiday!  Here is our first attempt at our fall cottage :) 

She was so excited for school this morning that while I was making her lunch she came in to the kitchen in full costume.  So, yes, she can take off her PJ's by herself and yes, she can dress herself.  Who knew?  Now I do!!  We had a full day with a Halloween party at school.  Her class is so adorable!

The whole class dressed up--some costumes were just too big to leave on all day :) 

Sleeping Beauty insisted that she needed a prince. When I asked her who her prince was, "Daddy is my Prince, Mommy." So we made sure that Sleeping Beauty had her Prince! I decided to go as the Queen as an afterthought. It was a lot of fun dressing up!

Such a fun season.  Such a fun night!

Great Grandparents are the BEST

My grandparents have been wanting to come to the zoo with Ann Charlotte since she was born.  They love the zoo-who doesn't!
So, my Mom came with them and we had a blast!  While they were in town, they volunteered to come back the next weekend and help me run our yard sale!  They were a LIFESAVER and it was so much fun spending so much time with them.  Thank you Grandmother and Daddy Bob!  We love you!

Upon her third birthday, Ann Charlotte made her first visit to the dentist.  She was so excited about it...until it was time to sit in the chair.  After some heavy convincing, she finally opened wide and gave Dr. Wilkinson and the hygienist room to work.  All went well and we have a very nifty, colorful, bouncy ball from the prize wall to show for it!  We also went to Chick-Fli-A and met daddy to celebrate!

We loved the fun waiting room!  So colorful and so many books!

We shared the news with Ann Charlotte today.  Here is how she found out she was going to be a big sister. 

Tonight she prayed for her little brother and kept wanting to knock "gently" on my tummy to talk to him. Such a special day!

Mommy, Your Hands are Dirty

A few nights ago I was putting Ann Charlotte to bed and our conversation went like this:

Ann Charlotte:  Mommy, you need to take a bath.

Mommy:  Well, well, why is that?

Ann Charlotte:  Your hands are so dirty!  Look at your fingernails.

Ha, ha!  The new fall fashion colors haven't hit Emmanuel yet!

We went on vacation with some friends of ours--the Warmath's.  William is Ann Charlotte's best friend.  Words cannot express how perfect the week was!  I will try to express it in pictures...

Football Time

Ann Charlotte went to her first Ole Miss football game on Saturday.  Too bad she wasn't their lucky charm like we had hoped!  We all had a big time!
